FairPrice continues to be Singapore's Most Trusted Supermarket, as shown by Reader's Digest Trusted Brand survey
FairPrice won big at the Reader's Digest Trusted Brand Awards held on 17 May 2012, bagging the prestigious Platinum Award in the Supermarket category (Singapore) for the fifth consecutive year. FairPrice's Housebrand cooking oil and rice also garnered a Gold Award each in the local individual Cooking Oil and Rice categories for the fifth and second consecutive year respectively.
The Reader's Digest Trusted Brand Awards measures brand preference through consumers' votes and is conducted in partnership with Ipsos this year, one of the world's leading custom research firms. The Platinum Award is the highest accolade given to a brand in each category. It is awarded to the brand with scores three times or more than, or scores at least twice that of the closest competitor with an average rating of at least 4 out of 5 points for the qualitative criteria.
