The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and circuit breaker movement restrictions taught us the importance of staying connected through the digital world. While it has been an easy shift for most digital natives, the seniors in our community have had difficulties adapting. To combat this, many initiatives have been rolled out since to help them adjust to the new normal.
FairPrice Online was featured in Mediacorp’s Ethiroli planned social experiment involving three seniors in a challenge to make successful purchases on FairPrice Online. This is in an effort to promote digital literacy among the elderly in Singapore, and with the objective to demonstrate the ease of using technology to encourage online purchases.
