Ingredients
Knorr Mashed Potato
Water
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3 slices bacon
2 tbsp butter
1 small onion, chopped
¼ tsp minced garlic
1 egg, beaten
1 cup shredded cheese
¾ cup all-purpose flour
⅛ tsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp sour cream
Fresh dill
Instructions
Fill the Knorr Mashed Potato cup with water to 1cm below the marked line inside the cup. Stir the mixture and set it aside.
Add oil to a pan and fry bacon in a pan for about 10 minutes or until browned. Pat off excess oil on paper towels. When cool, crumble the bacon into bits.
Using the bacon grease in the pan, melt butter and cook with onions and garlic for 15 minutes.
Transfer these to a mixing bowl and add a beaten egg.
Add instant mashed potatoes, bacon bits, shredded cheese, flour and black pepper, and stir until you get a doughy batter. Shape this into patties.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry patties until golden brown on both sides.
