Baggies Biltong Sticks are a type of African Biltong and made from Grass Fed Halal Beef Steak meat. The beef is sliced into thin strips and marinaded in a special blend of biltong sticks spices, comprised coriander, pepper and salt, and then dried in our biltong drying chamber.
Baggies Biltong Sticks make a very tasty snack. As they are small strips they are very easy to pick up and chew. Pound for pound these Biltong Sticks are packed with spicy biltong flavour.
Biltong is a traditional South African dried, cured meat. Biltong came about hundreds of years ago, when the preservation of food was a challenge with no electricity and fridges available. The meat was sliced and cured with salt to keep it from going off so quickly. Over time the curing process evolved, and the end product is the beautiful cured beef biltong as we know it today.
