Baggies Dried Beef Drywors (Droewors) Sausage is made from grass fed Halal beef steak meat. The Drywors meat is minced and mixed with a special blend of Drywors spices, comprising of coriander, cloves, pepper and salt. Drywors is then stuffed into a thin Sheep's casing, making a thin sausage that is hung to dry. Baggies Drywors make very tasty thin, dry ready to eat meat stick sausages. Due to their thin size and dryness they are very easy to pick up and snack on. Baggies Drywors have a really tasty aromatic flavour. Drywors (Droewors) is a traditional South African dried, cured meat. It came about as a variation on the traditional South African Boerewors sausage, and is a 100% dried beef version of the wet sausage. Drywors came about because before the time of electricity and refrigerators people in Southern Africa salted and dried their meat to preserve it for longer periods of time.
