- Cold Therapy: Freeze the gel pad in the freezer for 15 to 30 minutes (no longer than 30 minutes), or in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Hot Compress: Heat the pack in the microwave for 10 seconds ) or place in boiled water for 20 minutes and let it rest for 2 to 3 minutes before use
