An aromatic ready-to-cook paste featuring a perfect mix of sweet, savoury & slightly tangy spicy notes with a velvety smooth texture. Great for coating Yellow Noodles complete with toppings like hard-boiled eggs, tofu and chilli.

PREPARATION

  • Preparation (serves 2)
  • - 1 packet Golden Chef Mee Rebus Paste 250g
  • - 220g of Yellow noodles
  • - 100g of Bean Sprouts
  • - 2 Hard Boiled Eggs, sliced in half
  • - 60g of Fried Beancurd, diced cut
  • - 6 Medium Prawns
  • - 2 Lime, sliced half
  • - 20g of Green Chilli
  • - 10g of Fried Shallot
  • - 330ml of Water
  • - 12g of Corn Starch with 20ml of Water (as corn starch slurry)
  • Cooking Method
  • 1. Mix Golden Chef Mee Rebus Paste and water in a pot and bring it to a boil.
  • 2. In a separate bowl, add corn starch into water and mix well.
  • 3. Add in the mixture slowly to thicken the gravy in the pot. Lower the heat and simmer for 5 mins.
  • 4. Deep-fry beancurd and blanch yellow noodles, bean sprouts and prawns separately in boiling water. Drain and set aside.
  • 5. Portion into individual bowls and pour hot gravy over. Top it off with garnishes. Ready to serve.

STORAGE INFORMATION

Store in cool dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours.
