PREPARATION
- Best enjoyed in sushi, chirashi, grilled, steamed, or in steamboats.
- They’re individually frozen for easy use, and they taste fantastic when blow-torched (aburi).
- Also, you can stir into porridge for children.
- Thaw as needed while keeping the rest frozen for optimal freshness.
- For sashimi, rinse, defrost for 5–10 minutes, and slice each scallop into 2–3 pieces or thinner for carpaccio.
- Our sashimi-grade Scallops are blast-frozen at -45°C, preserving freshness by eliminating parasites without compromising the texture.
- Note: Scallops’ natural color is yellowish or cream, sometimes with an orange hue.
- This is normal and safe for raw consumption.
