KEY INFORMATION

  • - Air-flown from Toyosu Market, brings Japanese restaurant-quality flavor to your kitchen.
  • - It is as close as you can get to crafting authentic ichiban dashi with katsuobushi and kombu.
  • - Made without additives, chemical seasonings, preservatives, or added salt, and with unbleached, natural bags.

COUNTRY/PLACE OF ORIGIN

Japan

PREPARATION

  • - For convenience, this dashi soup is easy to prepare—simply add 1 bag (50g) to 2 liters of boiling water, and simmer for 10 minutes to yield 2 liters of delicious, natural dashi.
  • - Dashi is an incredibly versatile base for many dishes, such as hotpots, noodle soups, simmered sauces, or miso soup when mixed with miso paste.
  • - One of our favorite uses is in a rice cooker: replace water with dashi to cook Japanese rice, and just before it's done, add toppings like crab meat, corn, or mushrooms, allowing the steam to gently cook them.
  • -The result is a delightful Dashi Gohan.

STORAGE INFORMATION

Keep frozen in the freezer at -18°C or below.
