Simply Natural Organic Brown Lentil is a small and brownish legume, that has a red inside when split open. Being small in size, they are nutritionally mighty with high fiber content that prevents blood sugar levels from rising rapidly after a meal. To cook, add 2.5 cups of water to 1 cup of lentils and simmer for 35 to 40 minutes. They are good in soups, salads, vegetables and to make dhal curries.
