Preparation
Dumpling can be cooked according to the following methods: boiled, steamed, pan fried, deep fried NO NEED TO THAW.
1) Boil
a. Put the dumpling into boiling water (without thawing), gently stir with a spoon, cover and boil with medium heat for five minutes, then remove cover and boil for a further two minutes
2) Steam
a. Place frozen dumplings in the steamer or electric steamer, spray water on the surface of the dumplings, steam for 15 mins
3) Pan Fry
a. Place dumplings in a frying pan with just enough oil to cover base of pan. Fry for 1 minute, then add half a cup of water, cover frying pan, fry till water dries up (about seven minutes), pan-fried dumplings ready to serve
4) Deep Fry
a. Thaw the dumplings slightly, place into frying pan when oil is sufficiently hot, slowly fry dumplings till golden yellow on low heat, you can coat the dumplings with batter prior to frying for added taste.
