Citiponics aims to enrich the lives of communities through sustainable farming technology, connecting them to safe and clean food. We believe that freshly harvested, safe and tasty produce should be easily accessible to all walks of lives.

We currently operate the first commercial urban farm on an under-utilised multi-storey car park rooftop at Ang Mo Kio, growing pesticide-free leafy green vegetables sustainably through our zero-waste farming process. We pride ourselves in creating a clean and pesticide-free farming environment for our plants to thrive and grow naturally, so that you’ll get to taste the natural sweetness of the produce – fresh, nutritional, clean and crunchy, just the way they should be.

Fish Farmer

At the Fish Farmer, we believe in eating well and relating to our environment. Our fish are given space to swim in the ocean with tides and current and given time to grow so the textures are firm and natural-tasting. We farm fish without any growth enhancements. More than 70% of our farm is made of recycled materials and we use renewable solar energy for power.

We learnt farming techniques from traditional farmers who were farming for decades. So we built more than 100 caged long nets along sheltered waterways. This allows our fish swim and exercise with the tides and absorb the natural nutrients and the sea environment. Therefore our fish has firm texture, no mud taste and has the same flavour as wild caught fishes. The Japanese call this flavour Umami which means pleasant savoury taste. We don’t rush our fish – each fish is given time and space to grow. It takes a year to grow to plate size and more than 2 years to grow to fillet size. Our fish are entirely grown naturally, without injections, hormones or antibiotics. We adhere to the strict rules for food safety set out by the Singapore government. The Fish Farmer is the only farm with the widest variety of fish. We are proud to boast that we are the largest producer of Mullet, Milkfish, Red Snapper and Sea Perch.

Chew’s Eggs

Chew’s Agriculture, with more than 30 years of history and experience, has been one of the Singapore’s leading egg producers; every day we deliver safe and fresh eggs for the nourishment of Singaporeans.

Chew’s Agriculture is one of the largest and most modern layer farms in Singapore. Our newly developed, eco-conscious and climate-controlled poultry houses are capable of improving air quality and reducing risk of disease contamination. Additionally, our birds are fed with a natural plant-based diet supplemented with probiotics. At our brand-new farm, we are moving towards implementing higher standards of animal welfare. Chew’s Agriculture is the only poultry farm today in Singapore awarded with the Certified Humane qualification from Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) of USA. We adhere to the program standards which include nutritious diet without antibiotics, animals raised with shelter, resting areas, sufficient space and the ability to engage in natural behaviours.
