Ingredients
800g Pork Spareribs (chopped into 15pcs)
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
8 slices of Ginger
0.5 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
2 tsp Sugar
1 tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1.5 tbsp Hua Diao Wine
4 tbsp Cornflour (divided)
Method
- Purchase the pork ribs at FairPrice pork counter, the staff can chop them accordingly to our request.
- Wash the pork spareribs. Put them into a mixing bowl, add 2 tbsp of cornflour and water to the level of covering the ribs.
- Soak for 5 minutes, the water will turn murky. Give the ribs a quick rub, pour away the water. Rinse the ribs and dab dry.
- Add in all the marinade ingredients, except cornflour. Mix well.
- Add in cornflour and mix again. Cover the bowl with clingwrap and leave in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
- Add some water to the airfryer drawer (beneath the rack), lay the ribs and spray oil. Airfry at 180°C for 30 minutes, flip the ribs at 15 minutes’ mark. Check the browning of the ribs, increase temperature to 200°C for the last 5 minutes if required.
