Ingredients
600g Pork Spare Ribs
1 pack Cravins Char Siew Sauce
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Chinese Cooking Wine
GLAZE
1 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Char Siew Sauce
GARNISH
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
Method
- Wash ribs thoroughly to remove blood and impurities using salt. Remove excess water and pat ribs dry with a kitchen towel.
- Place the ribs in a big bowl and add in salt, light soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine and the char siew sauce. Massage the ribs thoroughly and transfer into a ziplock bag. Seal and marinate overnight or for at least 6 hours in the fridge.
- Before cooking, preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes. Ensure the ribs are evenly coated with the marinade before placing them into the air fryer.
- Air fry at 180–190°C for 15 minutes. Halfway through, flip the ribs and continue cooking.
- Once done, brush the ribs evenly with the glaze (mixture of honey + char siew sauce).
- Air fry at 200°C for another 2–3 minutes (keep an eye on the ribs to ensure that they are not burnt).
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot.
