Air-fried Turmeric Batang Steak

Ingredients

2 pc Fresh Batang Steaks ~280g
 ½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Cornstarch
2 tsp Lemon Juice
3 tbsp Water

Method
  1. Rub the Batang steaks with salt, then rinse off and pat dry.
  2. Mix the turmeric, garlic powder, cornstarch, lemon juice and water into a paste. Coat the Batang steaks evenly with the mixture.
  3. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes.
  5. Lightly brush or spray the fish with cooking oil, then air fry at 220°C for 12–15 minutes, flipping around the 8-minute mark.
  6. Serve with rice and enjoy!
