Black Pomfret with Sweet Soy Sauce

Ingredients

400g Black Pomfret
3 Garlic
Julienne Ginger
Spring Onions

SAUCE
3 tbsp Kecap Manis
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
½ tsp Sesame Oil
3 tbsp Water

 

Method
  1. Rinse, clean & pat dry the fish
  2. Rub the fish with a little flour
  3. Heat a wok with oil, then pan fry the fish on each side for about 4 mins (Note: Do not flip the fish multiple times, just cook it once on each side)
  4. Once the fish is cooked, set it aside on a dish
  5. Using a small pan, stir fry garlic and ginger till light brown then add in the mixed sauce and let it simmer for a minute. Once it is bubbling, add spring onions, then transfer the sauce onto the cooked fish. Ready to serve.
