Cream Cracker Crusted Pork Loin

Ingredients

1 kg Pork Loin
15 to 18 pcs Cream Crackers
2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1.5 tbsp Hua Tiao Cooking Wine
2 tsp White Pepper
6 tbsp Corn Flour
2 Eggs
Cooking Oil

 

 

Method
  • Clean and slice the pork loin into 1.5cm thickness.
  • Pound the meat with a meat mallet to tenderise it.
  • Marinate the meat with light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, hua tiao Chiew and pepper for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Crush the cream crackers into crumbs.
  • Coat the meat slices with corn flour, beaten egg and cream cracker crumbs in sequence. Set aside for 10 mins to allow the crust to set.
  • Heat pan with oil.
  • Pan fry the meat with medium heat until golden brown.
  • Ready to serve. Eat while it’s hot.
