Oil for deep frying | |
Tortillas | 8 |
White Cabbage (Thinly sliced) | 200 g |
Diced Tomatoes and Onions | 1⁄2 cup |
Lime wedges for serving | |
Fresh Mint Leaves for garnish | |
Guacamole | |
Japanese Mayonnaise | 1⁄4 cup |
Limes juiced and zested | 2 |
Salt (Adjust to taste) | 1 tsp |
Avocados | 2 |
How to cook
Step 1
- Cut avocados into half, remove seed and de-skin with a spoon. Mash them with a fork or blend them in a food processor.
Step 2
- Add Japanese mayonnaise, lime juice and zest. Season with salt to preference, mix well and set aside.
Step 3
- Deep-fry a pack of FairPrice Chicken Karaage until crispy. Drain and set aside on paper towels.
Step 4
- Toast tortillas on a grill pan to warm them up.
Step 5
- Assemble a taco by laying out tortilla and adding guacamole, thinly sliced cabbage, fried chicken karaage along with diced tomatoes and onions. Repeat for the rest.
Step 6
- Serve with lime wedge and mint leaves for garnish.
