Fishiee Sticks
6 pieces
Sushi Rice
2 bowls
Unsalted butter
3 tbsp
All-purpose flour
14 cup
Curry powder
1 tbsp
Garam masala
1 tbsp
Cayenne pepper
14 tsp
Leek / scallions
(chopped)

How to cook

Step 1

  • Melt the butter over medium heat in a small saucepan and add in the flour

Step 2

  • Mix the flour and butter until liquid form

Step 3

  • Reduce heat to low and continue to stir for 15 minutes

Step 4

  • The mixture should darken to a “chocolate” colour after 12-15 minutes

Step 5

  • Add in curry powder, garam masala and cayenne pepper (optional for spicy)

Step 6

  • Mix well to combine and stir for 20 seconds

Step 7

  • Transfer it to a bowl and set aside

Step 8

  • Air fry the fishiee sticks and set aside

Step 9

  • Transfer the cooked rice onto a serving plate and place the fish fingers at the side

Step 10

  • Pour curry gravy onto the fish fingers

Step 11

  • Garnish it with chopped scallions and leek, dish is ready to serve
