How to cook

Simmer Sauce

  • Chop the onion and finely mince the garlic cloves.
  • Set a pan to medium high heat.
  • Add the oil, allowing it to heat for a few seconds. Add the onion and garlic, and saute for 3 minutes.
  • Add the canned tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.

Boil Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil; add 1 tsp of salt.
  • Add pappardelle and cook until al dente, firm to the bite but not soft.

Season Sauce

  • Season the sauce with hand-torn basil, sugar, pepper and 1 tsp salt.
