Rice Cooker Laksa Fried Rice

Ingredients

1 cup Long Grained Rice (rinsed)
1 pack
Fried Rice Laksa Paste
2 tbsp
Oil
1/2 pc
Red Chilli (sliced)
2 cloves
Garlic (minced)
1 tbsp
Coconut Cream

3 pcs Tau Pok (cut small)
5 pcs Frozen Cook Prawn (thawed)
2 pcs Fish cake (sliced)
2 stalks Spring Onion (chopped)
Salt

For Garnish:
Bean Sprout (blanched)
Fried Onion

Method
  1. Place 1 cup of rice in the rice cooker and add 1 ½ cup water.
  2. Stir in the Laksa paste, oil, red chili, salt, pepper and coconut cream. Mix well. Place the tau pok, prawn, fishcake on top and let it cook.
  3. Halfway through cooking, open the lid and add spring onion. Cover and let it fully cook.
  4. Once done, fluff the rice before plating. Sprinkle garnishes and serve.

Tip: Ensure that the water added is proportionate to the rice as one packet of Laksa Paste is ideal for one cup of rice.
