Serving 4 paxs
Preparation Time 5 hrs (slow cooker)
Skill Easy
Ingredients

800g Chuck Tender
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Oil
3/4 cup Barbecue Sauce
1/2 Sweet Onion (cut into quarters)
8pcs Butter Rolls OR 4pcs Hamburger Buns
100g Coleslaw

Method
  1. Sprinkle salt, pepper and garlic powder evenly on the chuck tender and gently rub the seasoning into meat.
  2. For optional browning, heat 1 tablespoon oil in large non-stick skillet over medium heat until hot. Brown on all sides, approximately 2 minutes per side.
  3. Place the meat into a slow cooker or pressure cooker and cover the meat with barbecue sauce and onion. Cooking on slow cooker would be to cook on HIGH for 5 to 6 hours and cooking on pressure cooker will only take 1 hour until roast is fork-tender.
  4. Remove roast and onions from slow cooker. Shred beef with 2 forks. If desired, skim fat from cooking liquid, transfer to a saucepan and reduce by half.
  5. Slice butter roll or hamburger bun into half and place the shredded beef on top of it and drizzle some sauce over it. Then add in coleslaw and cover with the top bun, sliders are ready to serve.
