Ingredients
1 tsp OilÂ
4 Cloves
4 Green Cardamoms
1-inch piece of Cinnamon
1 cup Onion Paste
1 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Garlic
4 Green Chillies
3 tbsp Yoghurt
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Pepper Powder
3/4 tsp Cumin Powder
1 1/2 Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Cooking Cream
1/4 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
250g Paneer
Method
- Heat the oil in the rice cooker’s vessel. Stir in cloves, cardamoms and cinnamon until it’s nice and fragrant. Add the onion paste and cook for 1-2 mins.
- Add ginger, garlic, red chilli powder and green chilli paste. Sauté, then add yoghurt.
- Add the coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, turmeric, salt and paprika. Mix in cream and water, then close the lid to simmer for 10 mins.
- Open the lid to add the paneer. Cook the stew for another 1-2 mins until it reduces to a slightly more paste-like consistency.
- Garnish with coriander and some cream to serve!
