Ingredients
1 Packet of Pasar Chicken Breast
1 Bag of Wholemeal Pita Bread
1 Packet of Magic Lettuce
4-5 tbsp of Yoghurt
1 Cucumber
1-2 Medium-sized Tomato
1 Red Onion
2 tbsp of Honey
1-2 tbsp of Soy Sauce
1½ tbsp of Masala Powder
1 Lime
2-3 Dashes of Garlic Powder
4-5 Dashes of Black Pepper
2 Dashes of Salt
1 tbsp of Sesame Oil
Handful of Chopped Coriander
Method
1. Prepare the Chicken and Marinate
- In a bowl, combine yoghurt, honey, soy sauce, masala powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Slice the chicken breast into thin fillets.
- Add the chicken fillets to the marinade and toss well to coat evenly.
- Allow the chicken to marinate for about 10–15 minutes.
2. Prepare the Vegetables
- Dice the tomatoes, cucumber, and onions. Season with salt, black pepper, and sesame oil.
- Add chopped coriander and a squeeze of lime juice.
3. Cook the Chicken and Pita Bread
- Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat, and sear the chicken until golden brown on all sides. Set aside.
- Toast the pita bread in the oven for about 10 minutes.
4. Assemble
- Create a pocket in the pita bread.
- Fill it with lettuce, chicken strips, and the diced vegetables.
5. Plate and enjoy!
