12 Mid-Joint Chicken Wings
1 Whole egg
1 tsp Sesame oil
4 tbsp Cornstarch
1.5 tbsp Knorr SavorRich concentrated Seasoning / 3 tbsp Knorr Hao Chi All-In-One Seasoning
3 cups Whole grain rice (rinsed)
200ml Coconut milk
2 sprig Pandan leaves, knotted
1 tbsp Knorr Hao Chi All-In-One Seasoning
10 slices Cucumber
4 tbsp Fried ikan bilis*
6 tbsp Fried peanuts
4 Eggs (boiled)
4 tbsp Sambal chilli
1 tbsp Cooking oil
*Available at your nearest FairPrice store.
- In a bowl, add the marinade ingredients and marinate the chicken wings evenly. Set aside for 10 mins.
- Cook the rice by mixing all the rice ingredients and allow to cook until ready or for about 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, add the cooking oil to the frying pan and fry chicken wings until golden brown using medium high heat.
- Assemble the cooked rice with chicken wings and garnish with boiled egg, cucumber, ikan bilis, fried peanuts and sambal chilli.
