Pan Fried Milkfish (Filipino Style Bangus)

Ingredients

1 Milkfish (400g – 500g)
1 bulb Garlic
4 – 5 tbsp Vinegar or Calamansi juice
1 tbsp Fish Sauce (Optional)
1 tsp Salt
Few Dashes Pepper (Optional)
Cooking Oil

Method
  1. Clean and gut the milkfish.
  2. Butterfly cut the fish.
  3. ⁠Rub the fish with salt.
  4. ⁠Marinate the fish with vinegar/calamansi, garlic and fish sauce. You may add pepper if you like. Marinate for at least 30 mins, or overnight preferably.
  5. ⁠Heat up the pan. Pan fry the fish with oil.
  6. ⁠Enjoy while it’s hot.
