Ingredients
1 Egg (beaten)
100ml Water
A pinch of Salt
1 tbsp Hua Diao Wine
120g Toman Fish Fillet (sliced)
1-2 tsp Light Soya Sauce
1 tbsp Shallot Oil
GARNISHING
A spoonful of chopped Spring Onions
A spoonful of Fried Shallots
A spoonful of Wolfberries
Method
- Combine beaten egg with water, salt and hua diao wine. Mix well and set aside.
- Marinate fish slices with light soya sauce and place them in a steam plate/bowl.
- Sieve the egg mixture into the steam plate/bowl (to remove any bubbles). Cover with cling wrap and poke some holes using a toothpick.
- Heat up water in a steam pot and steam on medium high heat for approximately 5 minutes, then reduce heat to low and continue to steam for another 8-10 minutes.
- Once done, add in goji, spring onions and fried shallot with oil. Lastly, drizzle light soya sauce and serve hot.
