Juice your way to a healthier lifestyle
We often think of a well-balanced diet as something that involves munching on fresh, leafy salads, or snacking on cubes of fruits in between meals. But more than that, fruits and veggies can also be transformed into deliciously healthy drinks! Here are three juicy ways to get your daily dose of nutrients.
1. A vegetable drink loaded with goodness
There are just so many health benefits when it comes to juicing. One of our all-time favourite choice is kale juice. Highly lauded as one of nature’s healthiest food, kale is an excellent source of calcium and antioxidant. And if you don’t have a juicer, fret not! A blender and strainer will do the trick too.
2. Smoothies you can have to replace a meal
With smoothies, you don’t have to worry too much about being hungry; these healthy drinks can be surprisingly filling! Toss in some fruits of your choice, add some milk, ice and with a little bit of blending, you’ll have yourself a delicious meal!

If you want the water to be flavoured instantly, try incorporating sliced or chopped citrus fruits, cucumbers, melons, and mint. Tip: Use cold or room temperature water, as hot water can compromise on the nutritional properties of the produce.
