Spicy berries, forest scents, black plum and wet earth notes greet your nose with little effort. This early drinking vintage of Giscours offers fresh, peppy dark red cherries and spice in the finish.
Light in colour and fruit, this blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc is more interesting on the tobacco and red fruit nose, than in the slightly tart cranberry piquancy.
The 2nd wine of the great estate Château Phélan Segur (considered by many to be an honorary Cru Class). Frank Phélan is a robust Bordeaux red that is savoury and cedar in style.
The generous bouquet reveals crunchy, fresh, red fruit aromas and fine, delicately smoked oak. The wine is supple and the unctuous tannins impart good volume on the palate, and well-balanced body.
Blending an even split of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, red and black berries with earth, medium body and a soft, red cherry finish.
A non-vintage Champagne and a 50/50 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend, the Grande Réserve is golden yellow in colour with a mineral bouquet that gives way to a complex rich palate.
