FairPrice Xpress Revamp Enhances Service Offerings
- Newly revamped FairPrice grocery mart at Esso petrol stations to offer greater variety of products and fresh produce.
NTUC FairPrice has unveiled the new logo for its grocery mart chain, FairPrice Xpress, at its renovated store located at the Esso petrol station along Lorong Chuan. This revamped 24-hour grocery mart will offer a wider assortment of products including 100 more varieties of fresh produce, groceries and car care products and accessories
Mr Seah Kian Peng, Managing Director (Group Business), NTUC FairPrice, said: “FairPrice is constantly innovating and upgrading our services to better meet the needs of our customers. With this revamped store concept, we are able to enhance our strategic partnership with ExxonMobil, by offering customers a one-stop place where they can top-up petrol and purchase basic groceries and fresh produce on the go.”

Apart from commonly available instant and dry foodstuff available at convenience stores, FairPrice Xpress at Lorong Chuan road offer an additional 300 more product varieties, a large portion of which will include fresh produce like vegetables, frozen meat and cheeses. In line with customers’ changing lifestyles and greater need for convenience, the grocery mart will feature a selection of ready-to-cook meals and pre-packed vegetables. The revamped grocery mart will offer about 1,400 product varieties in all.
NTUC FairPrice aims to roll out the revamped store format to two more FairPrice Xpress stores this year. In all, there are 19 FairPrice Xpress stores located at Esso petrol stations.
In addition, Cheers convenience stores, which is a subsidiary of NTUC FairPrice has recently revamped its website to better engage its customers and stakeholders. Customer can visit the new website at www.cheersstore.com
Cheers convenience stores aim to offer customers a pleasant shopping environment and service with a smile, embodied in the Cheers logo of a smiley face. Offering 24-hour convenience and a well-established network of stores across Singapore, Cheers stores enable customers to enjoy beverages, snacks, news dailies and periodicals as well as toiletries at any time of the day.
There are currently 66 Cheers stores and 48 Cheers petrol marts which are located in Esso Petrol Stations. All 71 Esso petrol stations spread throughout Singapore are managed by both Cheers and FairPrice Xpress.
