  1. Will there be LinkPoints given?
    LinkPoints will not be given because the devices required for card payment and syncing up with Link is not enabled on this van.
  2. Is Pioneer/Merdeka/Senior discount given for purchases made from this van?
    Yes, Pioneer/Merdeka/Senior citizens discount will be given on the allocated days as per the same practice when purchased from stores.
  3. Can FairPrice also come to my area?
    Locations for our vans are assessed and selected based on several criteria such as the number of seniors residing in the area, walking distance to the nearest supermarket, etc.
  4. How long will this initiative last for?
    This initiative will last as long as there is sizeable consumer demand for the service. We will expand to more locations if required.
  5. Are non-Pioneer/Merdeka/Seniors allowed to shop at this van?
    Yes! We welcome everyone to shop with us.
  6. What can we buy from this van?
    You can get basic essentials such as rice, noodles, canned food, oil, and paper.
  7. I can’t find the items/brands which I usually buy. Why are these items/brands not sold here?
    The objective of this van is to bring basic necessities closer to you during this pandemic. This is to minimise time spent outside and reduce one’s exposure to the virus where the elderly are most vulnerable.   8. What kinds of payment modes do you accept in this van?
    We accept cash, NETS and credit card.
  9. With the COVID-19 situation, what measures are you taking to ensure my health and safety while shopping?
    All staff are required to wear masks and sanitise regularly in all work areas. To maintain social distancing, we have also placed cones to indicate queue spots which are joined by 1m connecting poles. Our hotline is made available as well for general queries and to check on the real-time status of stock and queues.
  10. What information can I find out by dialling this hotline?
    You can get live updates on stock levels, queue lengths, as well as answers to general enquiries (e.g. Where exactly is the van located? What are the van’s operating hours?). For more information regarding the van, please refer to the locations below.

    No, prices are the same as our stores. Prices will be adjusted accordingly depending on promotions.
