The wild rainforests of Tasmania are the only place in the world where the rare leatherwood tree (Eucryphia lucida) grows. Often referred to as the King of Honey and the Honey of Kings, leatherwood honeys bold, complex and unique flavour can best be described as tasting like the rainforest. It has an exotic and balsamic flavour, with lightly spicy notes in its long finish. PREPARATION
Note: This honey will naturally crystallise as nature intended. Eat as it is or restore it to a liquid state by placing the glass jar in a pot of hot but not boiling water or lukewarm oven under 45 degrees Celsius.
