• Owned by Michel Duverger, former longstanding president of the coop, who had been the driving force to improve the overall quality of the Chateau estates belonging to the Union, Chteau Capet Duverger is one of the examples of this success story with its classic Saint Emilion Grand Cru style. Merlot-based, this wine has good, ripe structure with mouth-filling spicy fruit and fine length. Lovely plumy fruit is backed by fine tannins making for deliciously juicy wine. Colour : Its colour is deep ruby red. Smell : The nose is slightly woody, with toasted notes of toast, combined with aromas of fresh fruit of wild strawberries. Taste : The mouth is balanced offering a beautiful structure with finesse.
