PREPARATION

El Toro is distilled in the very heart of Tequila at Orendian Distillery. The Distillery was established in 1926 by Don Eduardo Orendain, the Orendain family is one of the four oldest"Tequila families." The agave plants are harvested at full maturity, generally 5-7 years from planting. The agave pinepples are cooked in a masonry cooker for 48 hours to obtain the most concentrated flavour. Post cooking the agave is milled to extract the juice for fementation. Fermentation can last up to 48-72 hours.
