KEY INFORMATION

• -A springform pan is usually round, square or rectangular and consists of two parts. They are available in many different sizes, the common standard diameter is 12 cm.
• -There are now springform pans with a diameter between 12 cm and 34 cm. A removable base is clamped in a ring made of metal.
• -By opening the clamping lever, the ring can be loosened and lifted off the baked goods and the base. Particularly fluffy and delicate dough works best in a springform pan.
• -With the help of the springform pan, delicious fruit cakes or sponge cakes such as marble cakes or lemon cakes can be made from a shortcrust pastry base. -The operating temperature is 215°C but hearty variants such as onion cake or pizza also work well in it.

• -Made of ECCS steel with non-stick coating and heat resistant to 215 degrees celcius.
• -The Patisse PROFI series is made of cold-rolled steel and has a thickness of 0.30 mm. The non-stick coating Whitford Xylan is good in its scratch resistance.
