KEY INFORMATION
Calendula flower is a medicinal herb. Vulnerary, anti-inflammatory, immune-modulating, antimicrobial and demulcent. Can be consumed as a tea, use as a mouth gargle, as a topical wash or as an anti-inflammatory ingredient in DIY skincare recipes.
1. Drink as a tea to soothe and relieve internal inflammation such as gum, throat, stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal inflammation.
2. Use calendula tea as a mouth gargle to relieve gum infection and mouth ulcers.
3. Use as a wash to relief itches and rashes. It is an effective wash to soothe eczema itch, milk rashes, body and diaper rashes for children and bedridden individuals.
4. Use calendula tea as a wash to reduce inflammation, prevent skin infection and to promote wound healing.
5. Infused calendula herb with carrier oil for topical use or add to DIY body care recipes.

Infuse 1 teaspoon of loose herbs per 220ml of boiling water, cover tightly and steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain and enjoy.
For topical, gargle or washing application, brew calendula tea and let it cool to room temperature before use.
