How to cook
Step 1
  • Heat the oil in the rice cooker’s vessel. Stir in cloves, cardamoms and cinnamon until it’s nice and fragrant.
Step 2
  • Add the onion paste and cook for 1-2 mins.
Step 3
  • Add ginger, garlic, red chilli powder and green chilli paste. Sauté, then add yoghurt.
Step 4
  • Add the coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, turmeric, salt and paprika.
Step 5
  • Mix in cream and water, then close the lid to simmer for 10 mins.
Step 6
  • Open the lid to add the paneer. Cook the stew for another 1-2 mins until it reduces to a slightly more paste-like consistency.
Step 7
  • Garnish with coriander and some cream to serve!
