Paneer | 250 g |
Yoghurt | 3 tbsp |
Cooking Cream | 2 tbsp |
Green Chillies | 4 |
Onion blend into paste | 1 cup |
Ginger | 1 tsp |
Garlic | 1 tsp |
Cinnamon | 1 inch |
Cloves | 4 |
Green Cardamoms | 4 |
Coriander Powder | 1 tsp |
Pepper Powder | 1 tsp |
Cumin Powder | 3⁄4 tsp |
Red Chilli Powder | 1 1⁄2 pinches |
Paprika | 1⁄4 tsp |
Turmeric | 1⁄4 tsp |
Garam Masala | 1⁄4 tsp |
Cooking Oil | 1 tsp |
Salt | 1 tsp |
How to cook
Start cooking
- Heat the oil in the rice cooker’s vessel. Stir in cloves, cardamoms and cinnamon until it’s nice and fragrant.
- Add the onion paste and cook for 1-2 mins.
- Add ginger, garlic, red chilli powder and green chilli paste. Saute, then add yoghurt.
- Add the coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, turmeric, salt and paprika.
- Mix in cream and water, then close the lid to simmer for 10 mins.
- Open the lid to add the paneer. Cook the stew for another 1-2 mins until it reduces to a slightly more paste-like consistency.
- Garnish with coriander and some cream to serve!
