Serving 4
Preparation Time 30 mins
Skill Easy

1 tin Whole peel tomato
1 tsp Sugar
A Pinch salt
1 tbsp of Chop basil
1 tbsp of olive oil
A pinch Black pepper (optional)

  1. Blend whole peeled tomatoes, sugar, salt, and chopped basil until smooth.
  2. Cut the roti prata into your desired shape e.g. Christmas tree.
  3.  Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the roti prata.
  4. Add any herbs and vegetables you like, ensuring they are easy to cook. For vegetables that take longer to cook, like carrots and broccoli, consider pre-cooking them together with your choice of meat.
  5. Sprinkle a mixture of cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top.
  6. Bake at 220°C (428°F) for 8-10 minutes. Remember to rotate the tray in between to ensure even heat distribution.
  7. Once out of the oven, lightly drizzle a bit of olive oil for a shining visual effect and to prevent the dish from becoming too dry.
  8.  Your dish is now ready to be enjoyed!
